GPEC, Global Advantage and German Trade Offices to Host Events in Phoenix
The Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), Global Advantage and a number of German trade organizations are hosting two events to increase business opportunities between Germany and the Phoenix area, particularly in the areas of alternative energy and biotechnology. Both events take place November 13, 2008. The first event is a German-US Business Networking Luncheon from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the offices of the Flinn Foundation at 1802 Central Avenue. The event includes several business presentations. The second event is a cocktail reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., hosted by Phoenix's Mayor Phil Gordon at the Arizona Club at 201 North Central Avenue, #3700. RSVPs to GermanConsulate@yahoo.com
German participants are the Bavaria U.S. Office, German Office of Foreign Trade, German American Chamber of Commerce, and Invest in Germany. Arizona organizations are the City of Phoenix, Global Advantage and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
