About the Presentation: "Designing an Ethical workplace"

This lunch and learn explores how ethics intensely impacts you: from your buying decisions to your hiring decisions, from your personal image to your effectiveness as a leader and from your basic expectations to your own professional standards.

In this interactive program we will involve participants in:

  • Discussion on the ethical landscape in America today and its challenges to business
  • Exploration of why ethics is so tough to understand
  • Experiential simulation of real-life ethical dilemmas
  • Identification of actions we can take today to enhance our workplace ethical culture

About Speaker: Marcy J. Maslov of Empowerment Unlimited Coaching

With over 25 years of experience in Fortune 500 accounting and finance, Marcy held roles of increasing responsibility, from entry level accounting to CFO for companies such as Motorola, 20th Century Fox, Blockbuster, Pepsi and Green Giant. Her accomplishments included designing and implementing a global on-line ethics program as well as leading international teams in cost reduction and operational efficiency programs. Marcy's international expertise led Marcy to live in France, Canada and Mexico and work in more than 15 other countries. Marcy speaks Spanish fluently.

Marcy completed formal training and certification in the Co-Active Coaching model from The Coaches Training Institute, one of the leaders in developing and advancing the coaching profession. CTI is an organization recognized by the International Coach Federation. In addition, Marcy earned her CPA from the state of Illinois and has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois. Marcy also completed a Masters degree in business administration from Duke University.

Marcy currently runs her own company to help business professionals who desire to become more effective leaders in their corporate roles and who choose to do so honestly and ethically. Marcy also uses her experience to bring Fortune 500 knowledge to small business, women and the Hispanic community.
