The Cardinals are Worth More Than the Suns and Diamondbacks Combined
Although the Suns are the most profitable sports franchise in Arizona, the Cardinals are worth considerably more. The Cardinals have an estimated worth at $935 million which is more than the worth of the Diamondbacks and the Suns combined according to Forbes magazine. The magazine valued the Diamondbacks at $390 million and the Suns at $452 million.
The Cardinals made $24 million on annual revenue of $223 million, the Suns made $29 million on annual revenue of $148 million and the Diamondbacks made $3.9 million on annual revenue of $177 million. The Cardinals are owned by William Bidwill who bought them in 1932 for $50,000. The Phoenix Suns are owned by Robert Sarver who bought them in 2004 for $404 million. The Arizona Diamondbacks are owned by Ken Kendrick who bought them in 2004 for $238 million.
