| Description: |
Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) is an international cost-reduction consultancy that excels at finding savings in non-core, overhead cost categories. In 2009, ERA saved U.S. clients $19 million.
ERA has more than 250 U.S. Consultants located across the country. They have access to a proprietary suite of sophisticated RFP analytic tools and benchmark pricing data from more than 14,000 successful cost-reduction projects. Clients can take advantage ERA's extensive knowledge and market intelligence in expense categories common to a wide variety of industries. Few companies would be able to justify hiring this level of expertise internally. ERA finds average savings of nearly 20%. Consultants continue to work with clients to ensure that new services are implemented and savings projections are achieved. ERA clients typically realize savings in less than 90 days. Much of the time, clients retain their current vendors, but with better contracts. If ERA finds no savings, there is no fee. Consultants are paid based on savings found. Some common cost categories where ERA Consultants find savings are: chemicals; employment services; equipment leasing; factory consumables; financial services; fleet management; food services; freight (LTL, TL and international); information technology; insurance; janitorial supplies; medical and laboratory supplies; merchant card fees; office supplies; packaging; payroll processing; print services; records management; small package freight; telecommunications; uniforms; utilities; and waste management. |
